The kunai sunk into the wood. Indicating a sucess. Indicating a success. He didn't celebrate, no not at this day and age. Okay, maybe not age but at the year he was in at the Academy. It was expected of him to hit a stationary target. The greater challenge was hitting a moving target.
He walked slowly towards the target and collected his kunai, before heading off into town. He didn't know what direction he wanted to go in. He knew his father wanted him to be a great shinobi, and that his grandfather could help, but Granny Sakura was a great shinobi herself. With a sigh he walked into Ichiraku and sat up in a chair. "One misu ramen please!" [/style] |

Looking at the winds of change Looking at the Future to come Walking down the street her ninja buckle on her hips. She walked wondering what she would end up doing when she heard her cousin's voice. She smiled and ducked into the Ramen shop. She saw that he looked down and sad. "Hey Daisuke, what's got my favorite little cousin down in the dumps today?" she asked as she sat down and ordered her grandfather's favorite Ramen and paid for both. She took a deep breath as she turned to look at her cousin. She didn't know what to think as She watched her cousin sitting there.

The path of medicine or the path of jutsu. Either way it would be difficult to get help from his grandfather who was more orientated towards helping Ayame. "Hey Daisuke, what's got my favorite little cousin down in the dumps today?" He looked over at his cousin having not heard her enter. "Grandpa." that was all the explanation he needed to give her as his ramen arrived [/style] |

Looking at the winds of change Looking at the Future to come When she heard the one singular word she sighed. She should have known. She didn't know wht her grandfather feared so much for her, she was always around Takeo and such. She wasn't the one who needed a father figure in their life. She thanked the raman shop owner when she recieved her own bowl of ramen and paid for both. She looked at the young boy and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Grandpa will always be himself, don't let that get you down, besides isn't today one of our special training days?" she said smiling as she sat there. She knew only one way to make this little cousin of her's happier then any sad thoughts could destroy. Give him quality time to work on his ninja skills with moving targets and encourage him. She wanted to teach him some of the jutsu's she knew but didn't know if he was ready.
Taking a deep breath she blew lightly on her Ramen and said "Itadakimasu" then picked up her chopsticks and began to eat. She smiled it was always so yummy this ramen shop.

There were times that he adored his grandfather, and then there were other times where he hated the man's guts! He needed a father figure! He needed a male to bond with! His father was gone! He wasn't coming back! And why would he? For a wimp of a son? For a boy who his grandfather cared very little for? For a boy who cared more for his grandmother than his ex-hokage grandfather? No. He was rather unlikely to do so. He stared deep and hard into the bowl of ramen, even as he felt his cousin's hand on his shoulder.
"Grandpa will always be himself, don't let that get you down, besides isn't today one of our special training days? Slowly he looked at her a smile building on his face. The fact that she was their Grandfather's favorite was completely gone. "Really?" While he awaited a response he shoveled his food into his mouth. If she really was going to train with him, he wasnt going to be the one to keep her waiting!
